The staff at Lakes Foot & Ankle Associates welcomes you to our office! From the moment you contact our office to the time that you leave after your visit you will find that our staff is extremely courteous, professional, and efficient.

Our staff takes pride in providing a wonderful office experience for our patients. They will always strive to make the check-in process quick and easy, insurance details well clarified, and our treatment protocols clear and understandable.Feel free to ask them a question any time about services and products that are available.

The staff at Lakes Foot & Ankle Associates is also very well trained in the process of providing surgical services at our SurgiCare center. They are all CPR trained, annually recertified, and have taken part in the accreditation process by the Joint Commission. This means they can provide superior care to you in a very safe, comfortable environment.

Lakes Foot and Ankles Associates / SurgiCare Center Staff Bios

Susan – Facility Director

Susan oversees the daily functions of the office and SurgiCare center. She carries the ultimate responsibility of coordinating clerical, clinical, billing, and doctor activities on a daily basis. She also manages human resources, doctor scheduling, patient communications, and equipment inventory. Lastly, Susan is instrumental in handling the many details for the Joint Commission accreditation process that Lakes SurgiCare Center has undergone.

Colleen – Clerical Manager

Colleen is responsible for managing the daily activities of the front desk. She is often the first person you will speak to on the telephone when contacting the office. She handles many tasks including patient scheduling, chart management, and SurgiCare center paperwork. She also manages a multitude of “behind-the-scenes” duties for all of the doctors.

Betsy – Clerical Assistant

Betsy is responsible for handling many of the daily activities of the front desk. She is among the first person you will speak to on the telephone when contacting the office. She handles many tasks including patient scheduling, chart management and general phone calls.

Barb – Billing Manager

Barb is responsible for the insurance and financial details at the office and SurgiCare center. She handles the daily billing activities and interactions with the insurance companies. She also serves as a resource for our patients so they may better understand their insurance coverage and financial responsibilities.

Michelle – Clinical Manager

Michelle is responsible for managing the clinical flow of the office. She coordinates patient placement into treatment rooms and will begin the treatment protocols used in patient management. She oversees the other patient care technicians to coordinate their efforts with patient management. Additionally, she handles inventory control for the office and SurgiCare center.

Jackie – Assistant Clinical Manager

Jackie is responsible for assisting the doctors with all aspects of patient care. She takes care of many tasks including room preparation, x-rays, cast removal and application, fitting of braces and orthotics, and performing ultrasound. She also works as a surgical assistant on surgery days in the SurgiCare center.

Nancy – Patient Care Technician

Nancy is responsible for assisting the doctors with all aspects of patient care. She takes care of many tasks including room preparation, x-rays, cast removal and application, fitting of braces and orthotics, and performing ultrasound. She also assists with patient management on surgery days in the SurgiCare center.
